Community Support

Perry Homes is proud to be involved with the 2011 Full House Lottery through building one of the prized dream homes. All proceeds went to support the University Hospital Foundation as well as the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation. These institutions help provide support to the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute as well as the Royal Alexandra Hospital, a leader in innovative research and best practises development.

Perry Homes, with the support of our community-minded trade and supplier partners, will be building another Healthy Home in support of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. The proceeds of this beautiful and contemporary certified BuiltGreen™ family home will help to establish a Simulation Centre for Health Learning inside the Hospital. This state-of-the-art classroom will allow health care professionals to improve their readiness, communication, and ability to deliver world-class patient care and service. Perry Homes is very proud and excited to be a part of their third Healthy Home project!

From August 8–19, a group of doctors and business professionals who support the Royal Alexandra Hospital embarked on a great journey to Africa’s rooftop—the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Each climber made a commitment to raise funds for the new Orthopedic Surgery Centre at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, which is a building that is dedicated solely to hip and knee replacements, and is at the forefront of orthopedics research.

The Perry Homes/Tapestry Homes team sponsored this initiative corporately for $50,000, and the owners—Burke and Bill—and their spouses not only did the incredible climb, but they also individually raised pledges to support this great cause. The overall team goal was to raise $575,000, but with the combined efforts of all the climbers, more than $800,000 was raised!

Perry Signature Homes Inc., with the assistance of our outstanding trade and supplier partners, has built a home in support of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women, and the purchase of this beautiful family home went to support this excellent cause. The Perry Signature Homes office staff, supervised by the site construction team, donated their time to build a garage for this home, which was completed in 8 hours from start to finish!

It is with great pleasure that we've learned that the Hospital has decided to name the main floor Perinatal Clinic in honor of Perry Built's longstanding contributions, the “Perry Women's Health Perinatal Clinic”. We are very happy to support such an excellent cause in the city of Edmonton.
